TAL’s investment philosophy is based on the belief that financial markets are inefficient and therefore there is an opportunity to add value after fees from active management over the medium to long term.
Investment Style
An important feature of the TAL investment options, with the exception of TAL Ethical Growth, is the use of a multi-manager style of investing by the Investment Manager, TAL Life Limited ('TAL') ABN 70 050 109 450, AFSL 237848. This approach involves selecting specialist investment manager(s) from around the world to manage a portion of the assets in each investment option.
The aim of a multi-manager investment option is to provide a new level of diversification through a mix of investment managers with different investment styles.
Multi-manager investment options invest in either a single asset class, known as a single-sector investment option, or a mix of different asset classes, known as a diversified investment option.
