Your guide to making a claim

Know what you've got

When taking out Life Insurance you have a number of options to choose from when deciding on the insurance cover that’s right for you based on your lifestyle and individual needs. It is important that you read the relevant documents relating to your policy to understand what your policy covers and what it doesn’t and if there are any conditions that must be met in order to make a claim.

When reviewing your level of cover, you may wish to check with your super fund whether you have default cover included.

As your circumstances change – a pay rise, a new house or a new baby in the family, for example – take some time to review your cover and check that it still suits your needs and the needs of your family.

If you need to make a claim

When things go wrong with your health, or the health of a loved one, you may find yourself doing many things for the first time. It’s sometimes tricky to know where to start and it can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’re committed to guiding and supporting you, every step of the way.

To get your claim started the first thing to do is let us or your financial adviser know that you need to make a claim.

Alternatively, if your cover is through your employer or superannuation fund, let them know and they’ll point you in the right direction.
