Social Media Community Guidelines

How to engage with us on social media.

We have created our TAL social pages to help you engage with TAL. Posting on our pages is at the discretion of TAL and posts are moderated. We may remove anything that we consider be inappropriate or offensive.

The TAL Facebook page is monitored between business hours 9am–5.30pm on weekdays.

The following house rules have been developed to help maintain a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels welcome to contribute. Please take a moment to read the below guidelines to ensure a good time is had by all.

We expect that users will not post any materials that fall into any of the following categories and may remove material that is:

  • False or malicious which may harm someone’s reputation or the reputation of TAL. It is unacceptable to post or send abusive, aggressive, insulting or otherwise inappropriate messages.
  • Promotion of products, services, events, websites, business opportunities, surveys/research, other Pages and self-promotion of any kind is not permitted.
  • May provoke, attack or offend others – including TAL employees.
  • Racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit or abusive content.
  • Breaking the law or condones or encourages unlawful activity. Posts that might breach the law include posts, which breach someone else’s copyright or trademarks, defamatory posts, or posts that could be misleading or deceptive.
  • Impersonating someone else.
  • Repeatedly posting the same or similar messages ('spam').
  • Including your own, or someone else’s, personal/contact details such as name, telephone numbers, postal or email addresses in any posts.

In addition, posts must be by real people with real names: handles or character names must not be used. All users must comply with each social platforms individual Terms of Use.

If your posts don’t comply with these community guidelines, it is possible that your posts will be deleted. If you continue to break the rules, you may find that you are removed from the community.
