Responding to the needs of modern Australia

Improving the claims experience for customers and the teams who support them

We’re focused on providing simpler, faster ways for customers to make and manage claims by phone, online, through our partner funds or their adviser. For our people, we’re using digital solutions, including AI, to give time back and help them be more present for customers.

Mental health: an era-defining priority

Mental ill health remained TAL’s leading cause of claim for the fifth consecutive year. We are focused on evolving the support we provide through our products, services, partnerships and people including in the areas of prevention, claims support and recovery.

Helping Australians enjoy a confident retirement

With millions of Australians set to retire in the next decade, we’re working with super fund partners to help more people enjoy a confident retirement. TAL provides group longevity insurance that helps our partners deliver retirees a stable, sustainable income for life, protecting against the risk people outlive their savings.

Reaching younger Australians

New propositions, including backd by TAL and cover designed for access via mortgage brokers, recognise changing working patterns and the life stages when people are most likely to need cover. Our ‘Life Takes Guts – protecting it should be easy’ brand platform aims to help make life insurance easier to understand, more relevant and accessible.

Building a future-ready organisation where people thrive

We’re investing in development and building future-ready skills, and a culture where people feel valued and supported to grow.
