TAL bolsters Group Insurance leadership team

TAL, a leading Australian life insurance specialist, today announced two senior leadership appointments to its Group insurance business, bolstering its commercial, strategic management and market development capabilities. 

Dr. Joseph Daley was appointed General Manager of Pricing, while Nick White became Head of Clients and Strategic Management.

TAL General Manager of Group Insurance, Jenny Oliver, said, “We are delighted to have such depth of talent and experience across the Group Insurance team. 

“Both appointees have enjoyed tremendous success in their respective areas, and we’re excited to bring that expertise to their new roles so we can continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for TAL’s partner superannuation funds and their members.”

Dr Daley will be responsible for developing TAL’s Group pricing models in partnership with super funds. He moves to this role from his previous position in TAL’s Individual Life business as General Manager, Value, Profitability and Pricing. 

Reflecting on his appointment, Dr Daley said, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build on the successes of the Group Pricing team. At TAL, we place great importance on understanding the unique needs of each partner, and I am looking forward to working closely with each partner to ensure those needs are reflected through transparent, sustainable and bespoke pricing solutions.”

Meanwhile, Mr White joins TAL with extensive experience from outside of the business. In addition to his strategic management role, Mr White will lead a team to manage a portfolio of important client relationships.

Two internal moves were also completed recently, as Jenny Nguyen became Head of Clients and Market Development, and Cathy Collison became Head of Cbus.
