TAL announces partnership with the Movember Foundation as part of mission  to play a positive role in men’s mental health.

TAL believes strongly in the importance of health and wellbeing amongst all Australians and in supporting programs, which also care about making a difference. In line with this belief, TAL has today announced a partnership with the Movember Foundation as part of its mission to make a difference in the area of men’s mental health.

TAL General Manager Health, Dr Sally Phillips said the decision to align the Foundation is pivotal to TAL’s investment in making a difference to the lives of all Australians through its strong commitment to holistic health and wellness.

“In addition, TAL’s commitment to improve health and wellbeing will see our male employees involved in a pilot program during the month of Movember, which has been developed to increase awareness of men’s mental health. These initiatives will be aimed at making mental health a priority amongst male employees involved in financial services,” Dr Phillips said.

Commenting on the new collaboration, Charlotte Webb, the Movember Foundation’s Director for Australia & New Zealand said, “We have made strong progress over the years to raise awareness about men and their health. Partnering with TAL is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively towards a world where we see men being confident to take action over their health to ultimately lead happier, healthier and longer lives.”

“TAL is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Movember Foundation, working with one of the world’s leading men’s health charity. We are extremely excited to be associated with an organisation that aims to increase the understanding of the mental health risks that men face and seek to improve the outcomes of mental health in the community,” Dr Phillips said.
