TAL Risk Academy makes it easier for advisers with focus on client experience and navigating AI

Media Release -

TAL Risk Academy is making it easier for advisers to confidently navigate AI, client expectations and evolving advice environments. The 2026 second half (H2) program offers over 75 hands-on CPD-accredited courses, from using AI to simplify conversations to enhancing client outcomes throughout the advice journey.

Jason Bamford, National Sales Development Manager at TAL, said: “Advisers tell us they want practical education that helps them improve every stage of the client journey, embrace new technologies, and create experiences that build trust and lasting relationships. TAL Risk Academy is focused on delivering this for advisers and their teams, with real-world learning they can apply straight away.”

A key focus of the H2 program is the continued expansion of the Client Experience learning stream which provides advisers, administrative teams and paraplanners, with practical tools to enhance client interactions throughout the advice journey, from onboarding through to claims. It features industry experts sharing real-world insights and approaches from across the profession.

Upcoming sessions include Building an Efficient, Client-Friendly Needs Analysis with AI (30 July), featuring Grant Miller from Inspired Financial Planners, and TPD-focused Emerging Trends in Life Insurance: A Reinsurer's Perspective (28 August) presented by Swiss Re’s Michael Renny.

The broader program covers emerging topics including general advice, demographic trends, a retirement-focused series in September, and cyber-safe AI advice practices and business insurance in October and November.

The launch follows strong engagement in TAL Risk Academy’s flagship programs, with Ethics Month in May attracting almost 2,000 enrolments across five sessions in 2026. Tax Month in June also recorded strong participation, with both programs remaining available on-demand in H2.

“The continued success of TAL Risk Academy reflects the profession’s commitment to evolving with its clients’ needs and expectations. Education plays a critical role in helping advisers adapt with confidence. We’re proud to support advisers and their teams with CPD that is relevant and designed to make a genuine difference to the clients they serve,” says Mr Bamford.
