Our Annual Innovation Challenge is a chance for our people to unleash their creativity and suggest new ways to better serve our customers. 42% of TAL people got involved in our last challenge and the winning ideas were part of a hackathon hosted at Sydney fintech incubator Stone & Chalk. Last year’s winning idea was an app designed to make it easier for our customers to manage their claim in real time, upload documents and track its progress. The app is currently being piloted with one of our partners.
Apart from the incredible career opportunities I have experienced during my 14 years working with TAL, the other really incredible thing has been the culture of flexibility. As a working mum of 3 young children, in a busy leadership role, TAL allows me the flexibility to manage the challenges associated with “blending” work and life. I could not be more grateful to my employer for supporting this daily juggle!
