2020 -

Leading Australian life insurance specialist, TAL, is launching a new webinar to help financial advisers navigate the medical and wellness impacts of COVID-19.

Run through TAL’s industry leading education program, TAL Risk Academy, the course will be delivered by Dr Priya Chagan, TAL Chief Medical Officer & Head of Physical Health, and Glenn Baird, TAL Head of Mental Health.

The webinar will focus on providing evidence-based information about COVID-19, the risk factors, and potential impacts of the virus to insurance underwriting and claims. In addition, the webinar will explore the importance of mental health and wellbeing for financial advisers and their clients during these uncertain times.

TAL Head of Licensees and Partnerships, Beau Riley, said, “For more than five years, financial advisers have looked to TAL Risk Academy to support their education needs so they can continue to deliver quality advice to their clients.

“In these unpredictable and challenging times, this support has never been more important. As a specialist life insurer with an in-house Health Services team, we are uniquely placed to enable advisers to learn directly from health experts about COVID-19 and reflect on how they might apply this information into their day-to-day operations with clients.”
