TAL has launched a revitalised and industry leading online service platform, that transforms the way superfund and corporate group members engage with their life insurance.
General Manager Group Insurance Jenny Oliver said TAL was committed to delivering an exceptional digital experience to all their partners.
Our vision is for all of our partners to have a digital presence no matter how big or small, to ensure they can deliver services to their members and employees – anywhere, anytime” Ms Oliver said.
We undertook extensive qualitative member testing in our dedicated UX lab to help us better understand member needs. As a result, we designed new layouts that are modern, easy to navigate and deliver an improved experience.
One of the new features is a responsive design that allows members to engage with their fund and their life insurance benefits from any of their personal devices – mobile, tablet or desktop.
This functionality is very exciting, because it builds on the existing self-service functionality and makes it easier for members to manage all aspects of their superfund insurance online - such as applying for increased cover, getting a quote, modifying their insurance, transferring and tracking their insurance cover.
In addition to the new look and feel of the portal, we also invested significantly in backend sustainability. We have brought together the latest versions of our content management systems, underwriting rules engines and best practice designs so we can deliver agile and responsive digital solutions for our partners that support their current and future strategies.
The initiative also delivers a revitalised platform that allows all of TAL’s group partners to tailor branding to align to their own company guidelines.
Our aim at TAL is to continue to innovate and reinvest in our digital capabilities for our partners, so together we can deliver on the member promise. Our emphasis is on evolving from the status quo, setting the strategy, and most importantly focusing on the execution and delivery of initiatives.
This latest initiative builds on many already delivered to TAL’s group partners over the last twelve months, including click to chat, animated calculators and other specific partner initiatives.
Ms Oliver said it’s an exciting time, where member needs and expectations are evolving.
