Insurance premium relief and assistance for our flood and bushfire affected customers

Life Insurance -

To support our customers impacted by the floods in Queensland and the bushfires in Tasmania, TAL is waiving two months of insurance premiums and replacing any lost policy documents.

This support will ensure that our customers and their families can have some relief by maintaining the life insurance cover they need during this difficult time.

Premiums will be waived for payments that are due from 1 February 2019 and eligible customers can apply for the waiver until 31 March 2019.

We understand that in these challenging circumstances, assistance like this can make a difference to our customers. Supporting the health and wellbeing of our customers is also a priority for us, and so beyond the financial assistance we’re providing, we’ve ensured that TAL’s customer facing teams are supporting customers as well as possible during this difficult time.

Eligibility

The waiver will be available to existing TAL customers holding policies directly with TAL or through a financial adviser who reside in a flood-affected area of Queensland or a bushfire-affected are of Tasmania.

Customers on TAL's Insuranceline and Alliance partner products will also be eligible for the insurance premium waiver.
